LARA Introduction
LARA Introduction is a 2‑day in‑person hands‑on training for anyone interested in Lightware Advanced Room Automation. This training will start from the very basic concepts, covering the most commonly used features on the LARA user interface. Participants will wire and configure working solutions with GPIO, HDMI‑CEC, RS‑232 or Ethernet control, and create customised touch control interfaces for these solutions, all without using JavaScript programming. This course is the perfect opportunity to get started with LARA!
- Understand the operational logic of LARA elements
- Effectively use the LARA Wizard for common setups
- Configure basic room automation workflows using LARA modules, methods, events, variables, conditions and delays
- Create and configure a LARA user interface to control and monitor displays, lighting, audio and other AV devices
- Integrate and troubleshoot AV devices using built‑in modules, TCP/IP and serial communication, LW3 commands, and codec integration packages
